DIMAT 7th Annual Day Celebration : Shri Brij Mohan Agrawal and DR B C Mal Grace the Occasion
DIMAT’s Seventh Annual Day Celebration and Felicitation was organized in the Satyavihar Campus with much vitality and cheerfulness that outgrew into the magnetism of the occasion. The Chief Guest, Shri Brij Mohan Agrawal, Minister, School Education, Legislative Affairs and Tourism Department, Raipur inspired the students with his informative speech which gave the students a perspective to prepare for the future. Dr B C Mal, Vice Chancellor, CSVTU, Bhilai also marked his persona on the festivity as Guest of Honour. In entirety the programme was set apart by the charisma of Prof Umesh Upadhyay, Director, DES Principal, DIMAT, Dr K K Bhattacharya, Director, Academics, DIMAT, Dr Tripti A Jain and Principal, DCMS, Dr Rupali Choudhary.
The students from all the wings of Disha under the aegis of Disha Education Society – The Satyavihar Campus, Disha Tower & Disha Park
congregated together under the roof of the DIMAT Campus, Satyavihar to bring the program alive with their cheering and chanting all through the cultural activities that are a part of such revelry. The mega show of culture, ethnicity and synchronization proved yet again that the sweat that has been shed for organizing the stupendous show was worth rewards and approbations. Prizes were distributed to winners in the sports and cultural activity organized for the occasion.
Shri Brij Mohan Agrawal congratulated Disha to have positioned itself among the country’s top institutes. In his remarkable speech he said, “We’ll become thriving educators only when we make entrepreneurs of our students. We have to make salary providers and not salary getters. Learning’s from our country’s culture, soil and saints’ deeds and words will make our students a finer person, who’ll bring a revolution in the world. ”
Dr B C Mal appraising the students of the institute said, “A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. To keep yourself able-bodied you should vigorously participate in cultural activities. In the 21st Century you’ll witness changes, so keep yourself up-to-date to abreast with the challenges. Be Swami Vivekananda, who took the world in his stride at the young age of thirty years”
Prof Umesh Upadhyay said, “It's our firm belief at Disha, that to enhance the skills of our students, they must be provided with opportunities to explore their creativity. Cultural programs are organized several times during the year to encourage creative pursuits and nurture talent. It is a gesture that promotes harmony and peace among students.”
12 outstanding students of the institute who have been able to register their position in the top were splendidly felicitated with the ‘Best Student Award’. CSVTU – Youth Festival – Inter College Competitions, Zone-3 awards and Dishayein awards were also given away during the felicitation ceremony.
