Shri S.K. Jain hails from reputed business family from Titilagarh, Orissa. His Father is leading Tax Practitioner at Titilagarh. He has migrated to Raipur in the year 1980 to set up a wire Industry. At present his group is running profit earning and growth oriented manufacturing units namely, Surya Wires Pvt Ltd., Refracast Metallurgical Pvt Ltd, Refmet Technologies Pvt Ltd, Sona Wires Pvt Ltd., Disha Online P. Ltd and Disha Infoway India Pvt Ltd. etc with group turnover of more than Rs 500 Crs ($106Mn). He, besides an eminent Industrialist of this region, is a philanthropist and has made laudable contribution to the field of education of this region. He has promoted various technical and UGPG institutes under aegis of DES and due to his driving efforts "Disha"
has become a national Brand in the field of Education.
He has been president of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Chhattisgarh Zone for 2008-09.
