CODE OF CONDUCT
Discipline is the utmost need and prime objective for the betterment and Upliftment of the College.
Students are expected not to harm the property of the college and they will safeguard it from the outsiders and unwanted elements, if they attempt to harm the same.
Misconduct of any nature giving bad name to the college may cause the expulsion of the student from the college.
Mobile—phones, walkman, radio, etc. are strictly prohibited in college premises.
Publication of any information regarding the college without the prior permission of the management will be treated as an offence. The matter may can be taken to the court of law.
Students are not allowed to use personal floppies and CD's in the lab. They must also not install any software or download any from Internet.
If the student is absent from the class for more than 21 days without any prior information, he/she will be considered as a dropout.
If the college finds activity of any student is derogatory to dignity of the college, the student will be asked to leave the college without giving any reasons.
Action taken by Disciplinary Committee will be final.
Students are not allowed to download and use the Internet resources of the lab for personal use like sending e-mail, viewing irrelevant websites etc.
LIBRARY'S RULES
Every student of the college will be provided with a library card to access the library facilities.
In case the student damages or loses any book, he/she will have to pay the printed price of the book or submit the copy of the same.
The decision for issuing book lies with the Librarian.
Book will be issued for a maximum of 7 days only If book is not returned by due date a fine of Rs. 2/- per day will be charged.
Bags and personal books are not allowed in the library.
LABORATORY RULES
Students will have to follow the rules and regulation of Physics, Electronics, and Computer Lab.
Students should not mishandle the computer systems and other equipments in the Lab. In case of any problem, they should inform the Lab In-charge immediately.
HOSTEL RULES & REGULATION
The college has its own hostel, which can accommodate nearly 40 students (Male]. The hostel rules are as under;
Application should be made in the format given in the prospectus.
Student should retain all receipts , notices , etc. issused from the college office for the future references.
Students admitted in the hostel will be formally allotted room after the admission process is completed. He will have to accept the decisions of the warden for his placement in the rooms. The choice of the roommates shall not be allowed.
Students will pay an amount of Rs. 1800/- per month towards cost of bed charges, two meals, tea and breakfast and electricity charges. They will have to pay the mess charge, rent, electricity charges, etc. in form of 10 post dated of Rs.1800/— each in favour of Disha College Raipur.
For temporary leave the students will have to seek permission of the warden.
No student is allowed to remain outside the hostel after 8 p.m. without prior permission of the warden.
Ragging of any sort is a criminal offence, Any student found guilty of the same will be handed over to the district police authority He will be responsible for the consequences that follow.
Smoking, consumption of alcoholic drinks, chewing of gutkha and tobacco etc, are strictly prohibited. The student found guilty of the same will be expelled from the hostel and college too.
No student will entertain any outsider in his room. It can be permitted by the warden in writing for 2 days only Guest charges for meals would be Rs. 20/- per meal.
